Haris Sheikh :

Director and writer Haris Sheikh is a Canadian of Pakistan origin. Sheikh is a graduate of Global Media Specialist’s program and Film production. He got CANWEST Diversity in media academic award 2009.
Sheikh holds Masters in Political Science, Fine Arts and also studied Architecture but could not graduate being proactive against Martial law regime in 80’s. Sheikh 's career started as a columnist and joined mainstream politics in 90’s .
In 2000, disguised by another Military regime, Sheikh immigrated to Canada. His articles about Canadian identity and issue of integration are published worldwide.
Ethnic dialogue, Muslim’s diasporas and human rights are Sheikh’s niche issues.
